Wisdom Teeth
Wisdom teeth are the last of the molar teeth.
They usually appear at the age of 17 to 24 years. Up to four wisdom teeth can emerge in a person, one in each corner of the mouth.
While for most people, wisdom teeth arise without any problem, in some cases there is not enough space for their growth. Impacted wisdom teeth can cause problems like:
- Pain
- Swelling
- Damage or Infection in the Neighbouring Teeth
- Stiff and Sore Jaw
- Bad taste and Bad Breath
Anyone who is having the problems listed above may discuss with their dentist the option of having their wisdom teeth removed.
